silly Noah

Noah's an incredibly sweet kid.
He's also hilarious.
He cracks us up constantly with some of the things he does.

For example.

Yesterday, I locked the gates on our back yard fence, with him and the pups inside, and kept an eye on him from our kitchen window while I made supper. When I glanced up to check on him, this is what I saw:

He was having a good 'ol time, picking up dirt and covering his legs with it, throwing some of it overboard, and randomly throwing a stray veggie or two out.

***

Last week, Noah was in the loft, watching some Curious George and playing.
I ran downstairs and started talking to Brad about something.
About 2 minutes later, we both walked back upstairs to find this:

What possessed him to wreck the place, I don't know.
What I do know is the boy was really craving some chips.
He had decided the most efficient way to eat them was to dump the entire bag on the floor.

***

I've mentioned before how much he loves his blue blanky, right?
I don't think I've stressed just how much enough.
It goes everywhere with him.
So the other night, he was in the tub playing. I stepped outside the bathroom door for a sec to tell Brad something. When I turned back around, the little stinker had grabbed his blanket from the floor where I told him we'd keep it till he was done. So yeah, I turned around to see this:

You better believe I was begging my washer and dryer to work fast that night
Because there's no way this boy goes to bed without his blanky.

***

Yesterday, Noah thought he was really clever.
He was done eating his PB&J. But rather than tell/show me, he decided to hide the leftover pieces, hoping I'd think he ate it all. What a smart kid.

Happy Wednesday!

That blankie photo had me laughing out loud! My 18 month old has become obsessed with her blankie and tries to take it everywhere with her. I'm new to this whole 'lovey' thing, so I didn't even think about it getting grimy. Well, my 3 year old had to tell me it was stinky...umm...yes! Ewww! I threw it in the wash before lunch and was PRAYING it would hurry up and dry before nap time. Lol. ;) Kids are so funny.

Noah is my homey! Funny pictures and stories. Kids are the best huh? We definitely need to find some time to hang out when we are in NC again. And Noah, don't worry I had a leash too when I was little.
