Brad took the entire week off work just to hang out with us. His brother came back into town to prepare for their big move, and he stayed with us again. We had a lot of fun family time with the inlaws.
Noah enjoyed every stinkin minute he had with Brad and the rest of the family, but especially Brad. Normally, we get to see Brad for maybe an hour everyday. His job sucks.
(sidenote: Please keep him in your prayers, yall. He REALLY needs a new job.)So to have him available to us 24/7 was awesome. He let me take a (much needed) nap a couple of days. It was heaven.
We took Noah, the pups, and the girls, Madison and Skyler, to the fountain to play again. Unfortunately, Noah got tired so we didn't get to stay as long this time. But they still had fun, especially since we took them to get Frosties (chocolate... seriously, is anyone actually ordering the vanilla ones?) from Wendy's.
Yeah, I did something funky with my camera to make it be all blueish... oops.
Still an amateur.
Noah and his Granny (Brad's mom).
He loves his Granny.
On the whole developmental front, Noah loves to pull himself up and stand (but only if he's holding onto us). He seems to have inherited my dependent nature. That whole, "Mommy, you do it for me..." thing. This should be fun. Oh well, at least I'll always feel needed.
He's very mobile, but we're not quite sure how, to be honest. He does a mixture of crawl-like lunges, spins, twists, rolls, and scoots. It's pretty interesting to watch. He's very creative.
He does this alot:
See? Not quite a crawl, but we're not sure what to call it?
Like as I type, he was sitting right next to my chair playing with his Pooh Bear. Now, he's somehow made his way to the other side of the bed (which sits behind me in the guest bedroom). But he never crawled... ??

Cassidy never crawled. At six months she was getting around by pushing herself BACKWARDS, sliding on the hardwood floors. At seven months she's sort of, kind of get around by doing a military crawl. It was weird.
At 8 months she stood up and started walking. Like she'd been doing it forever.
Some babies aren't crawlers. And honestly? Babies TOTALLY do their own thing. Livie can't hold her head up at all, but can roll across the floor. She's backwards. But that's how the little boogers are.
I'm praying for the new job for Brad, ridiculous what he has to do!!! So glad ya'll were able to spend time together! I'm with you, chocolate frostys only from Wendy's!!! Keep the Noah pictures coming!!!
