I don't have much else to write about at the moment. So I figured I'd do a nice little random get-to-know-you-better post. Except this one won't be about me.
I talk a lot about the hubs on here, but I've never really mentioned some of his... uh... quirkier traits. Things that make him who he is. Which are definitely quirky.
But I like quirky. I like different.
He's weird and funny and annoying and super hot
(but yall don't have to agree with me on the hot part, cuz that might get awkward...ok, fine. Brad's sitting here and said you do have to agree. But not really. Ok, moving on).
So here ya go. Random stuff about Brad.
{1} He looooves tangy food.
But unlike most people, who just stop at salt & vinegar chips, he takes it to another level. He will open up our fridge and drink, straight-out-of-the-bottle, A1 sauce, ceasar vinagrette salad dressing, and pickle juice. He will also gladly eat lemon-pepper seasoning by itself. It's disgusting, actually.
{2} He wants our next boy's middle name to be Raphael. As in the Ninja Turtle.
{3} When he was a teenager, he told me that he had a dream where he and Carmen Electra were best friends. And like, seriously, he wasn't joking. Or making it PG. In fact, he told our entire Driver's Ed class about it.
{4} He taught himself how to breakdance in high school.
And he was really, really good. You know those cheesy teen movies where the cafeteria suddenly breaks out into this really fun music and the entire student body stops to watch the cool kid dance?
That actually happened to him.
It also happened at our prom.
And it's how he earned cool points with my friends at a school/church dance.
(how do ya like those pants??)
{5} His voice dropped extremely low at a young age.
It freaked my mom out.
We were like 11, and he'd call my house to see if I could play, and my mom thought some creepy man was calling me.
{6} He's obsessed with The Simpsons. He could tell you all kinds of crazy facts about them, much to the disapproval of his dad. He'll mention The Simpsons around his family, and his dad to this day says, "You still watch that crap??"
{7} He's an Eagle Scout.
Yet we've never been camping together.
But that's more my fault than his. Camping, in my world, equals a sleazy motel with no hair drier. And I've only done that like twice.
However, he did save a girl's life in high school from a severe asthma attack.

{8} He says what's on his mind. This is probably my most favorite quality about him. There's no guessing, no worrying, no "does he think I'm pretty??" Because he has no problem telling me. Sometimes this quality gets him into trouble. But 99% of the time, he means well.
{9} He once had a stalker.
The girl showed up everywhere.
He told her he was married, but she would still show up at the same restaurants, his store, etc. Finally, she disappeared; we're assuming she went off to college (she went to Clemson).
{10} He set the side of his house on fire when he was a kid.
He has this issue with fire. And I know that's what a lot of guys say to sound cool, but this is no exaggeration. He was playing with fire in his garage, making a flame thrower out of his hand. There was a gas can about five feet away from him, and he watched as the vapors caught on fire in mid-air and led straight to the gas can. In order to stop the gas can from exploding, he kicked it out of the garage. It landed in a 3 ft blow-up pool, and some of the flames flew onto the house. He ran inside yelling to his mom, "Call the fire dept! The side of the house is on fire!" She stormed out and watched as Brad proceeded to hose off the side of the house. Obviously, since it was a gas fire, the water wasn't going to do much, and the flames started falling off the house and at him. In the end, everything was okay, but the main casualties were a melted pool and a blackened side of the house. His mom hid all lighters and matches from him from then on. And when the local mill caught on fire, everyone looked at him. His only saving grace was that he was in school when it started.
{11} He cuts his own hair.
{12} When he was 15, he started saying about 5 times a year that he wanted to work for Target. Just as a high school/college type job. Little did he know.
{13} If he had his way, and we had the money, he'd look like he walked out of a J.Crew ad. But since we don't, and he hasn't really bought much since college, he looks like he walked out of an American Eagle ad.
{14} He was kind of a scumbag player in his middle/high school days.
He caused all kinds of stupid drama. But all was well in the end. I'm now friends with one of the ex's now. Go check out her blog, especially if you need to get a cute baby fix. :)
{15} For years, he and his brother have had bottle rocket wars.
They run around the yard, light the bottle rockets, and shoot them at each other.
This directly contradicts #7.
So far, no major injuries have resulted. Except one of his shirts has a few burn holes in it.

Told ya he was quirky.
